Relaxing

It was a productive and at the same time, a relaxing day. I crossed a bunch of "to-do" items off my list in the morning and then in the afternoon, Evelyn went down for a nap, and my mom took the other two girls over to her house so I could get some sewing done.

Before I got started, I went outside to bask in the beautiful sunshine that has finally arrived for us.

It was tough to tear myself away from that blissful scene, but I did get down to sewing and managed to finish most of what I set out to do. Even just sewing in peace without all the kids clamouring in my sewing room asking me if they can have scraps to glue onto cardboard or something like that was nice. So thanks Mom!
