My Cat's Name is Mittens

We finally decided on a name for our kitten after two weeks of calling her "baby kitty". When Laina suggested Mittens due to her white paws paired with her grey body, we knew it was the right name. Immediately Adam and I both quoted Ralph Wiggum from the Simpsons... "My cat's name is Mittens." And to hear the boy himself say it, a short 13 second video is here.

Ah Mother's Day.... it was wonderful. It couldn't have been more relaxing and fun, due mostly in part to some planning on the part of my husband but also the showering of homemade gifts from my girls. I am a lucky girl! Hope everyone reading this had a special Mother's Day too!

Evie dragged this furry dog costume out and tried to put it on. I obliged and helped her into it and snapped a few pictures. You'll have to excuse Adam's scruffiness... I think he decided to grow some hockey hair for playoff season.
